Everyone Loved the Cake

Sam turned three in the month of June and till now I have not got time to scribble something and post her B’day pics. I am feeling bad about not being able to spend time in recording the important mile stones in my daughter’s life. But in a way I am happy that I am spending decent amount of time with Sam. I know as a working mom I cannot afford to spend 24X7 with my baby. But I stopped working during weekends and I am trying to reach home before 9.

Now for Sams Birthday daddy really wanted to make sure he gifts her something special. She wanted a BIG teddy and Yes she got it. We went shopping on Sunday and got it packed. My cousins were there to cheer her up and we decorated the bedroom a bit. As I already got my D90 I was ready to click the pics. She totally had fun cutting the small cake in the middle of the night. She loved every bit of the attention she received.

Come morning, Sam was ready for school. She started her school on her Birthday and Mommy and Daddy went to school on her first day and she seemed OK. She was there for 1.5 hours and was back home. She understood there was a BIG party for her in the evening and loved it. She loved the gifts she got and she asked next day whether her birthday was already over. I told her it will again come next year.
