Birthday presents

Its Our Birthdays this month. Sam is born on 21st Jun and me on 28th Jun. We are typical Cancerians. Cry for the smallest of the things and very attached to everyone who is close to us.

Daddy decided to treat both his girls with BIG gifts this time.

So its a huge teddy for Sam and a Nikon D090 for Mommy.
Sam loves this teddy in my cousins house and kept on asking for a BIG teddy for quite some time. She has reached a stage as far as her thumb sucking is concerned. She is trying consciously not put the thumb in the mouth.

The other day we took her to Odyssey book store to make sure she chooses what she wants we showed her all the big stuffed toys available. She still has not decided whether its a bear or a Pooh. She loves both but she knows she will get only one. talking about choices last night went to buy groceries and as usual she wanted a chocolate. I gave her a five rupee coin and showed her she can choose one of the chocolates. She was choosing both but I told her she will get only one for that money and she took some time to decide what she wants and finally chose one. My girl is growing BIG. It was so nice to see her making choices and being happy about them.

Now look at my birthday present. R definitely wants to pamper me as far as camera is concerned. Although he usually plans his gifts as a surprises knowing me and my choices he didnt want to keep this a secret and instead let me choose my gift this time. A BIG HUG to you for being part of my life.
