This blog till date has only been about our angel. I have decided to include the issues which move/make me think or some of my thoughts although predominantly its about our angel.
This Friday night when I sat on the bed I saw that my waist line is increasing at an alarming rate. I have decided to cut it down. Although I have been thinking about going for my long walks on weekends it never happened after Sam came home but finally this Saturday when baap and beti are on bed I got up at 5.15 am and climb down the stairs and realized that its still quite dark for me to venture on to the road. Finally after waiting for 15-20 mins I start even though its still dark. As I start walking I get some inquisitive glances from the early risers. It was unusually cold for Chennai but unmindful I keep walking enjoying the morning weather and listening to songs from R’s mobile which I stole for that morning as he was still sleeping. I am joined by few more morning walkers after I reach the signal where you take right turn from OMR towards Velachery. By this time, the day broke and I kept walking till I reached OMR - thiruvannimayur signal. I reached the Indira Nagar MRTS station and climbed on to the foot over bridge which is my favorite. I love watching the vehicles go by from the top of the bridge.
Finally when I started back it started drizzling and by the time I reached MGR salai it started raining. Somehow or other I reached home. A Saturday morning well spent/enjoyed.
This was a pleasant walk which I am planning to continue for as long as possible. I would like to put in all my efforts to be doing.
